Inclusion and hence the natural cooperation of people with and without disabilities is an important task of our society, which should become a normality. At the LÜDECKE company, this has been reality for many years. For this valuable commitment, the family company received the inclusion award of the city of Amberg and the rural district of Amberg-Sulzbach.

Through a thoroughly planned inclusion process, LÜDECKE does not only take on responsibility but also shows a strong will to implement this in many areas. Already since the 1970ies, the manufacturer for couplings has close relationships to institutions for people with disabilities.
This connection has expanded so broadly that by now almost all institutions in the entire Upper Palatinate and beyond are vital cooperation partners. This means: regular and plannable orders are deliberately executed with these workshops. In this way, employees of these institutions are enabled in their individual development of their personalities and to take part in work life.

Moreover, 8 years ago one external working place was created for an employee of the Jura-Werkstätte and numerous more projects were implemented. Among those are professional introductory projects, assisted employments as well as internships to choose between workshop employment or the general job market.
All those projects have already led to an insurable employment. This success proves that also in an industrial company it is possible to find suitable niche tasks which enable a person with disabilities to take part in general work life and society as well as being independent from social welfare by receiving a sustainable income.

Apart from a barrier-free design of the last two construction segments, LÜDECKE set a new milestone by creating a position as inclusion manager and by signing an inclusion agreement. Also in the future, the company wants to lead the way and find possibilities to integrate people with disabilities into the production process as best as possible to make them permanent members of the LÜDECKE team.
