Autonomy, taking part in social life and offering equal opportunities for all people are important aims of inclusion.
LÜDECKE has been implementing these principles in their company for many years. For this commitment, the manufacturer of couplings now has received the inclusion award of the district of the Upper Palatinate.
The inclusion award of the district of the Upper Palatinate has been awarded every year since 2013 and honours companies which impress with their outstanding commitment and thus serve as motivators and role models. It is above all the collaboration with workshops employing people with disabilities which made LÜDECKE stand out. In the past decades, a network of cooperation partners was built in the Upper Palatinate. About 800 people are in personal contact with the company. However, the numerous other cooperations, working together with the Integrationsfachdienst – ifd – (special service authority for integration issues), offering internships as well as creating insurable jobs for people with disabilities won the jury over.
The excellent expertise of Christine Birner, the inclusion manager, was highlighted in particular. With a strong personal motivation, she implements different inclusion projects at LÜDECKE and is the first contact person for any issues concerning this topic.
With strong confidence, Franz Löffler, the head of the district assembly, presented this year’s inclusion award and praised in particular the perfect practical implementation of one topic which is often still treated too theoretically.
LÜDECKE proves every day that people with disabilities are needed and is investing the prize money directly into another inclusion project.
