For several years, the LÜDECKE company has made sustainability one of its priorities and has been consequently implementing it in its everyday business operations. By publishing the 2025 sustainability report, the manufacturer of couplings shows its enormous progress and creates transparency for all people involved.
Sustainability at the Centre of Attention
Since 2016, LÜDECKE has its set sustainability strategy which embodies an important part of the company’s philosophy, and which is deeply rooted in its vision and mission. Apart from ecological, economical as well as social aspects it also comprises future-oriented thinking and acting.
The aim is to become even more efficient considering all of these three areas and hence creating a benefit for all people involved. When implementing its sustainability strategy, LÜDECKE takes orientation from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and concentrates on nine fields of action. Derived from these, strategic fields of actions were defined which form the centre of efforts. In the report year of 2025, the fields of actions have been specified in detail and also the future targets have been listed alongside the current projects which shall be reached by 2030.
Commitment which pays off
In the past nine years, the family company has successfully implemented many different projects in all areas. The building of the LÜDECKE energy campus deserves special mentioning which marks a milestone in the development of the company. Now, LÜDECKE is able to guarantee supply security for the company and the surrounding rental units by local energy production. Moreover, special jobs and positions were created which enable a sustainable company structure. Since 2021, there is a Green Company & Inclusion Manager in the company. To control and safeguard the sustainability strategy, a separate sustainability team was set up.
For this commitment, LÜDECKE has received several awards in the past years – a nice confirmation and motivation. As for LÜDECKE sustainability is not simply a trend but a matter of the heart.
