LÜDECKE has set another milestone when it comes to sustainability and is now an official member of the Bavarian Environment and Climate Pact.
This is an initiative in which the Bavarian state government and Bavarian companies have made a commitment to operate in a climate-friendly, resource-efficient and sustainable way. The aim is to encourage companies and public institutions to increase their efforts in environmental protection by voluntary participation and cooperation. It is realised by activities such as energy and resource conservation, waste reduction, recycling, use of renewable energies, biodiversity and much more.

We are proud to be part of this important programme. Our commitment to environmental and climate protection exceeds legal requirements – not because we have to, but because we want to. Sustainability has been a key part of the LÜDECKE corporate philosophy for many years and is deeply embedded in our vision and mission.
Besides manufacturing particularly energy-efficient and durable products, we focus on environmentally friendly buildings, resource-saving production and a wide range of ecological projects. Our energy campus (with combined heat and power plant, photovoltaic system, etc.) to provide our own energy, the use of environmentally friendly materials as well as numerous green spaces on the company premises, including a herb garden, beehives, insect hotels, nesting and bat boxes, are just a few examples.
The experience we gain in this process is continuously shared with our employees and the public to raise awareness for sustainable action in the long term. To implement all these ideas in our daily work, we have created special jobs and positions that enable a sustainable corporate structure.

For LÜDECKE, this membership is another significant step in its sustainability strategy. It strengthens our position as a company that is not only economically successful but also environmentally responsible.
