At LÜDECKE, everything is about connections – but not just in a technical sense, it's also between people who achieve great things together. Each of these connection is unique and usually lasts for many years or even decades.
Norbert Liebl has been with the company for such a long time. A few weeks ago, we celebrated his company anniversary in a very special way. 

On September 2, 1985 Norbert Liebl started his training as machinist at LÜDECKE. After successful completion, he worked as fitter and shift manager for several years. During this time, he acquired extensive know-how and comprehensive expertise in all areas of the company, making him an indispensable all-rounder in his current position. 

One of Norbert Liebl's greatest passion is sport. Since many years, he cycles – sometimes even on a unicycle – or runs his 26 kilometres to work every day. That results up to an impressive 6,200 kilometres per year. This not only keeps him healthy but also ensures that his route is completely CO₂-neutral. And that's just his way to work. In his free time, he covers many more kilometres.
A very impressive achievement, which he highlighted once again on his company anniversary: to celebrate 40 years at LÜDECKE, he ran 40 kilometres on the day of the anniversary. With his commitment and energy, Norbert Liebl even motivated some of the management team – they joined him for the last few kilometres to the finish line.
