RETROFIT - turning 'old' into 'new':

Retrofit is about an optimised refurbishment solution for an existing system. Existing systems are converted to future-proof systems that correspond to the state of the art. The aims of the retrofit are: Avoid downtimes, increase plant performance and quality, increase energy efficiency, reduce energy costs, fulfil legal requirements and (further) automate the process.

This is exactly what was implemented in the LÜDECKE high-bay warehouse, where a storage and retrieval machine and safety equipment in the warehouse were modernised. The retrofit was necessary in order to guarantee the operation of the system with increased availability, current safety standards and a secure supply of spare parts for the future.

The retrofit was carried out by a professional in the field, UBH Software & Engineering GmbH, Ebermannsdorf.
