At the end of July, the OHA! sustainability heroes from the region met at Eckert Beach in Regenstauf to explain the projects they had developed by themselves. The diversity of ideas impressively demonstrated how much commitment, creativity, and practical relevance this initiative has to offer.

OHA! Sustainability Heroes is a collaborative project organized by the East Bavarian Sustainability Initiative (OHA!) and the Regensburg Energy Agency (EAR), supported by the Lower Bavaria-Upper Palatinate Chamber of Crafts and the Eckert Schools.  
At this event, the LÜDECKE trainees presented a sophisticated and comprehensively designed irrigation system for the newly created raised beds at the company premises. They already were provided with the knowledge and valuable insights for this project during the kick-off event. Thanks to additional workshops and individual coaching sessions, they were able to plan and successfully implement their concept on their own. We are very proud that our trainees have achieved such great results and would like to thank them for their outstanding commitment. 

The next round of OHA! Sustainability Heroes will start in spring 2026 – we look forward to seeing more ideas and projects!
